Lark Quarry Dinosaur Stampede 


Step back 95 million years in time when Lark Quarry was a lush, riverine paradise teeming with life. On that fateful day, 150 two-legged dinosaurs, including small coelurosaurs and larger ornithopods, gathered at the lake for a drink. Suddenly, a fearsome, smaller-than-Tyrannosaurus theropod roared into the scene, sparking a frantic stampede that left a vivid trace in the ancient mud.

The open air picture theatre

Operated by Winton Movies Inc., this not-for-profit venue offers a unique setting for film screenings and diverse cultural events. Bladensburg National Park 


Discover Bladensburg National Park, just 7km from Winton. This former grazing property turned National Park in 1994 offers a glimpse into the region's history, featuring an old homestead, shearing shed, and breathtaking landscapes. Camp by the scenic Bough Shed Hole, go birdwatching, and spot native wildlife, including kangaroos and marsupials. It's a true Outback experience.
